The spelling errors in the 2-fers are nothing.  It's the factual errors that make one do a double-take.

The first one of those that comes to mind is on the 15 Big Ones/Love You two-fer when Peter Buck writes that the only Beach Boy audible on "Mona" is Brian, even though it's clearly Dennis doing the lead vocal.  I appreciate Buck's giddy admiration of the album, but I'm surprised that he couldn't tell and didn't bother to check.

How about Tom Petty writing that Brian didn't make the trip to Holland? These rock stars need to check their facts!

Yes, I could never get over how that one slipped by.
Could be that someone didn't want to tell Tom Petty or R.E.M.'s lead guitarist that they got their facts wrong.

Not a spelling error, but nonetheless a huge mistake on the first 1990 2-fer issues was the mix up of page 4 and 21 in the booklets of the Friends-20/20  and Party-Stack-O-Tracks 2 fers. Which meant you started reading about the Party album in the Friends-20/20  booklet and vice versa. Page 21 wasn't too much of a problem as it showed general info on all then-current BB releases, but the layout colours obviously don't belong there.

Btw, I'm talking about the UK pressings.

Rule of thumb, think BEFORE you post. And THINK how it may affect someone else's feelings.

Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45.

Listening to you I get the music; Gazing at you I get the heat; Following you I climb the mountain; I get excitement at your feet
Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story

Now that's a mistake.

I just realized that the two-fer Today/Summer Days spells "And Your Dream Comes True" as "And Your Dreams Comes True" on the back cover. It even misspells it in the booklet.
