Two-fer Spelling Errors

There's probably already a thread about this but I couldn't find one though so I thought I post about it.
On some of my two-fers I noticed they had some spelling errors.

My Finds
Sunflower/Surf's Up
On Sunflower/Surf's Up the disc misspells Stereo as Stero.


Also in the booklet, the 1 before Don't go near the water is on the wrong line.


Concert/Live In London
And on Beach Boys Concert/Live In London the yellow sticker on the front misspells Length as Lenght.

They do know that Live In London did not top the charts right?

I'm sure there's more errors as I do not have all the the two-fers. If you find anymore errors, be sure to post them.

I Get Around is listed under Little Deuce Coupe as confirmed by branaa09

Yeah I did always think that on the Back of the Two-fer cd, I Get Around being placed under the Little Deuce Coupe Album was odd!

Today/Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!)
I realized that the two-fer Today/Summer Days spells "And Your Dream Comes True" as "And Your Dreams Comes True" on the back cover. It even misspells it in the booklet.

Friends/ 20/20

On the Friends & 20/20 twofer, "When a Man Needs a Woman" is misspelled "When a Man Needs a Women" on the back, which just seems greedy.

When I was upgrading to the 2001 two-fers they made the ultimate spelling error.  My (USA) Friends 20/20 label on the disc says:  Smiley Smile/Wild Honey

Does everyone else have that misprint?

Not a spelling error, but nonetheless a huge mistake on the first 1990 2-fer issues was the mix up of page 4 and 21 in the booklets of the Friends-20/20  and Party-Stack-O-Tracks 2 fers. Which meant you started reading about the Party album in the Friends-20/20  booklet and vice versa. Page 21 wasn't too much of a problem as it showed general info on all then-current BB releases, but the layout colours obviously don't belong there.

Btw, I'm talking about the UK pressings.

I also noticed on the back Concert/Live In London they spell Sloop John B as Sloop John B. which really isn't a huge error but it is never usually spelled that way.

How about the technical description for either Sunflower or Surf's up, "This album was recorded on a Brother Multi-Track Recorder using long lasting Flash Light Batteries." Or something like that, what were they thinking? Look it if you don't believe me!

The liner notes for 15 Big Ones/Love You misspells Dennis' name when it spells him out his name as the lead singer on Mona as B-R-I-A-N.

It's not on a twofer, and all my cds are packed away (still unpacking after a recent move) but I seem to remember that greatest hits vol. 3: best of the brother years misspelled three as "trhee" on the spine of the cd box

Maybe the person designing the back cover thought All Summer Long was the first track of the All Summer Long album.

Hahahahahaha Never noticed that before. I don't usually read the technical notes. What do they mean by a 30 position toy mixing console. Was it made by Fisher-price?

On a side note, it's a pity that the Capitol two-fer liner notes weren't updated in 2001. For example, the group (plus Hal) played on Carl's Big Chance, not a studio band including horns (it's actually an accordion).

It's not a huge spelling error. They got an I and N, they just need D, E, N and S.

It's a pity that the Capitol two-fer liner notes weren't updated in 2001. Most glaring example: "Dance, Dance, Dance" (alternate take). "This early version offers a fascinating example of what Beach Boys records might have sounded like if the group had played on the tracks instead of studio musicians." Sigh

It also spells Shut Down Vol. 2 as just Shut Down. At least Vol. 1 is now available

Not a spelling error, but if I remember correctly, the "Friends/20/20" booklet lists Carl as one of the singers on "Be Still", which always struck me as odd.

That's a big error. I don't have that two-fer yet (I'm getting it next) so I don't know. Maybe the 1 error is just on the Australian edition.
