Check this out, from the comments section about the Bloomington, Illinois Beach Boys concert that happened last night. Look for sgtppr67 just a few comments down...

This is the first I know of Mike posting on message board (if it's really him).

Someone complained about their 10 year old not being able to see at the show because of people standing the whole time in front of them. Here's Mike's (Huh) comment:

I'm sorry there was a child behind someone enjoying the show the way the want to enjoy it. I'm Mr.Love and the rest of the boys were appreciative of every person that chose to stand up for them. If you come to the show expecting everyone to sit down so your little darling won't miss anything then maybe you should wait a few years to bring them.

Maybe he'll start posting here soon? Wink

Hmmm... might be. I find it a bit of a clumsy comment, BTW, not really friendly towards the next generation of BBs-related consumers. On this ground it's an imposter, methinks.

On the other hand I always had suspicions towards Luther. He could be the mole. He could be none other then the Lovester himself. Same turn of phrase. Same wry and dry humour. Same drawing talents.

He's Dr. Love anyway, not Mr. Love, so I think you're right Wink But you never know.

I think the second "I'm" was simply a mistake, the sentence makes more sense without it.

Could be that there should be a "sure" between "I'm" and "Mr Love" as well: "I'm sure Mr Love and..."

I am not sure if that is a shot at Luther or Mike Love!  LOL

Moreover, from a humanitarian viewpoint: our esteemed contributor Fall Breaks just saved a completely innocent and polite internet poster (that 'sgtppr67' person) from endless and soul-murdering lawsuits by the real Mike Love, for the heinous act of being an imposter of a prominent R 'n' R Hall Of Famer.

This is Mr. Love and I can confirm that is not me on the other messageboard as I'm too old to know what a computer is. I'm high on vicodin, yo. Peace.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.
