Just bought this LP off of Ebay.  Sounds pretty good for early 80s.  Does anyone know if it sold very well?

It's not too bad, but I prefer American Spring and Capitol Collectors of The Honeys compared to that.

No, I actually like(d) a lot of it, but then I like most of the Honeys and Spring stuff. The songs (on Ecstasy) are catchy enough and I always enjoy their voices.

I'm thinking about selling my Beach Boys' vinyl; I never listen to it. It's just sitting in a closet....

This is one of those few things I've never heard, along with most of Murry's album (even though I have a sealed copy of that somewhere) and most of Carl's albums. The track I've wanted to hear is "Go Away Boy", since it was the basis for the great Pearlfishers version.

There's also another Brian-song on that album. "You brought it on by yourself" (iirc). A nice little boogie written I believe in '63....
And I guess the inclusion of "Be my baby" was kinda a tribute to Brian

ONOEZ GUYZ THA SUE&STU&BLUE SHOW NO LONGER POSTS?!?!? Wow, I just can no longer be a BW fan. They were such an inspiration to us all. Pre-concert meetups simultaneously in fifteen different cities all over the world! Alleged "closeness" to the BW promotional machine! Scamming people out of cash!

Thanks... but i meant the Honeys version on In Ecstacy. that's the only version that was completed with vocals, right?
big fan of the Pearlfishers rendition.

Er, I always thought the album was called 'Ecstasy' (the 'In' part is a reference to the kitsch movie poster cover).

Whatever, I've always liked this album. 'Temptation Eyes' sounds especially great to me. It's a nice companion LP to the pink Spring album.
