The best way to advertise Brian's new album to the UK public would be to book him on the "Later.... With Jools Holland" show. This is the only really high profile music show on British TV that does not cater strictly to the Lady GaGa type crowd.

You know what, that would have been a really good idea, pity Brian's management didn't think of it!

It was considered some years ago, but for various reasons, it never came to pass.

I'm sure Brian would be welcomed onto the show if he were available to play it.

BTW will there be a CD/DVD release? I remember AGD thought that there would when the album was in production.

I was always kind of amazed Brian's never been on it - it's perfect for him. It's live, but they edit blinding mistakes, if you get interviewed there are worse people than Jools to interview you, and the publicity is nothing but good - both the Radio 2 crowd and young musicheads watch it... Hopefully the reason he never went on it wasn't bloodymindedness on behalf of his crew.

All roads lead to Kokomo. Exhaustive research in time travel has conclusively proven that there is no alternate universe WITHOUT Kokomo. It would've happened regardless.
What is this "life" thing you speak of ?

One of these being that Jools, accompanying his guests,  tends to confuse brilliant piano improvisations with inane noodling?
