I don't remember seeing this on the thread. In fact, I don't remember hearing this before....

Interesting find, Rocker. Country singer trying its hand at Pet Sounds number. I don't like it*, but saved it. Thanks!
*bad vocals, bad song choice. Ugly cover.

Yeah, I just went to AMG & it seems you're right. I only know of her country stuff, like "Blue Bayou", "Crazy", "Wildflowers",,, And she WERE dressed country in IJWMFTT doc. But anyway, thanks for corrrection.
edit: regardless, it's a very bad cover. Never cared for her voice, it's so terrible, beyond my words. Epic fail and thumbs down. Yep.

Recent upload I found today:
HAIM and Ed Droste from Grizzly Bear - Surfer Girl
Cool guitar and acoustics in that venue. Otherwise - throwaway.

This is very offbeat cover. And off-pitch. Off the tribute album to PS.

Neither bad nor good. it sure lacks the studio trickery & vocal milti-track. But some may like it.

Cool finds! How do you usually search the covers? I'd assume not by simple Googling. My method is use allmusic site. Yours?

I just type in the song title (maybe with "beach boys") and look what turns up. Or I go to wikipedia if I want to have some infos for a specific song. They also mention cover versions. Usually I don't put much work or effort in it though. Sometimes they just pop up or I read about them.

You know, I had weird sense that it's up to people who find covers to make sure there's no repeats. And, did I miss or this thread has, like, only 6 pages (as opposed to 100)?

nah, I think it's up to the ones that get bothered by repeats to make the list, and also to make certain that anyone thinking of posting a video knows of the list before they post

I dig this. Kinda has acoustic Local Natives vibes to it. I think I like this song when it's mellowed down like this. Also the song is free if you so desire
