Brian has played Ding Dang live too -- not that the rest of the band was prepared for it, but he did it. One the home shopping network, no less!

o God, I must see this before I die.

Is that on Youtube?

I don't think so -- it was in 2000, so a few years before everyone taped stuff like that and put it up immediately.

I recall the host was asking Brian about his favorite album he'd made, and Brian said Love You. And either the host suggested or Brian offered to play something. So he played and sang some of Ding Dang. You couldn't hear his keyboard at first -- they turned it up quickly -- and I think a band member or two might have contributed by the end.

A priceless moment. And the host was very, very confused.

Reminds me of the BWPS premiere on February 20, 2004. The audience recordings showed up online within a half hour of the end of the show. And there were apparently some people who made fifty-minute phone calls at great expense to folks at RFH to get a sneak peek. Smiley

Brian can't remember the words to God Only Knows. Do you really think he can pull off Feel Flows? Even Carl couldn't remember the lyrics.

I think he could read Feel Flows off the teleprompter just as well as he reads all the other songs he does.  No more difficult than Surf's Up or Sail on Sailor.

Which gave rise to the following dialog from the stage during one of the later shows:

Jeff - you know, there are people out there with better equipment than we've got up here: this'll be on the internet by tomorrow morning !

Scott - great, I can learn my parts properly !

If looks could kill, we'd've buried him in London...
