Hi!
It would be great if one day Hal Leonard or another book company make a Dennis Wilson's songbook, with all of his songs released by Beach Boys, and/or solo, put on this, with chords, melodies, etc... a how-to-play kind of thing.
Dennis, as a great composer, deserves this.

It would be great, but I don't think we'll ever see this. It's more likely that a Brian-songbook (probably incl. solo-material) will be made.

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Dennis would want you to figure them out on your own.

And considering they're not rocket science, I'd guess if you're a musician, you could. I don't mean that as an insult to the music, either. But whatever inspiration you may believe was behind those songs, the result wasn't exactly Paganini.
