In 1997 I acquired through writer Brad Elliot a limited edition reprint of the front cover of the original Beach Boys Smile album. As you all undoubtedly will know this cover art was made by Frank Holmes.
It's a limited edition of 150 copies, all individually numbered and autographed in pencil by Frank Holmes. My copy is numbered 2/150. I had it framed and it really looks awesome!
It comes together with a print-out of an e-mail from Brad Elliot to me in which he states that this is a single copy print. The email also states that the number 1 print was produced 6 times, each one for the persons who were involved in getting the deal done with Frank Holmes. So there are six numbers 1, and only one number 2 etc.
As a victim of the credit crunch i am seriously considering selling it. I prefer to sell it to a real Brian Wilson/Beach Boys fan. Of course I want to sell it for the best possible price but I also want too give it a good home to someone who really appreciates it.
