I'm truly excited that there are so many young BB fans on this board. I was 15 when I 'discovered' them, now I'm 26, and I can honestly say that enjoying their music has been one of the most enriching things in my life.

To everyone talking about ages: I'm 21, and have been an avid BB fan since about 5. So its wonderful to see younger BB fans! Its awesome. Of course I love meeting all BB fans!

Runners- I'm sure the BB's wouldnt like it if no girls liked them. What would Denny & Mike have done?? Huh Grin Oh &  I couldnt quite qualify for "troll" status, close though!

I've been a fan since about 1975. So, I was 11 then. I've only gotten more into their music as I grew up. My first song I ever heard by them was "Surfin' USA" MY mom had the original 45 creditting Brian Wilson as the writer. not Chuck Berry. ;-) I like every different style the guys have done. Glad I'm not the youngest anymore. I became a fan around 15 1/2 and I'm turning 21 in September. Time certainly flies! Enjoy yourself here and read all you can.

Welcome Brittany! Nice to see some fellow young people that are into the BBs. (I guess I can still count as young, I'm only 23.) Just watch out for the Brianistas (who pretty much dominate the blueboard), SMiLE-o-philes (like myself!), and Mike Love-lovers (and, yes, there are several here..cough cough, Real Beach Boy, cough cough... LOL LOL)!!!

You're still a youngling...   I feel old being almost 33.  I remember 13 or 14 years ago a lifetime ago on what is now PSML I was known as "Jeffy (aka The Kid)" before adopting my current username of GoofyJeff (in reference to the Disney character, but also my sense of humor) because I thought I was too young to be a fan.

Well, it is certainly refreshing to see so many of the younger set appreciating the BBs' music.  I have a 19 year old son who listens to nothing but I.C.P. and similar groups.  I don't know where I went wrong.  I tried to be a good parent!  Cry

Oooh that sucks. I hate that band. Well honesly I hate most of today's music. There are a few good bands though..

Actually I got into the BBs and other bands through my brothers & my mom a bit. My dad listens to blue grass... Roll Eyes yuck.
