How can you have a positive-only thread? Goobers keep forums going. Smiley

Trying to get into the spirit of things in that Battle Hymn thread. I think history proves I know a thing or two about gooberosity. Gooberness. Goobriety.

Negativity.

Ah f*** it. This sucks.

But Speed Turtle does kick ass.

Speed Turtle is Brian's infant symphony to God circa 2007.

Love how fuckin' isn't caught by the filter. Smiley

I can honestly say it is my favorite part of the board. No offense to the goobers.

For some reason it catches fuckin' with a G instead of an apostrophe, but that's for another discussion. I'm trying not to goober up the thread.

Hey, who are we to question modern science? After all, it brought us the very same technology that allow us to think Brian Wilson is still alive, to say nothing of the fancy internet and more than 1,000 uses of goobers. If modern science tells me fuckin' is ok to say, I (for one) believe it.

This might be my best thread in the history of this board.

Mind gangsters on the internet allow us to think Brian Wilson is still alive, my friend. The internet is just the vessel through which it occurs. Goobers will still be around and they'll be fuckin' around as long as the internet is around.

Were goobers fuckin' around before the internet? That's what I wanna know. I mean, I know about peanut butter. And peanut oil. But were they ruining threads with negativity?

Not internet threads, obviously, since we're clearly [as the first sentence of this post says] talking pre-internet. But I mean newspaper threads. Possibly some sort of letters to the editor format. Or maybe just chalk on rock walls. Were there Battle Hymn (or--GASP--Speed Turtle-hating goobers even then?

I don't understand anything of what is going on here. And this might be a very good thing.

Apart from that: in Holland, last week some factory burned down to the ground. What was in it? 200 tonnes of peanuts (I kid you not). I wonder how the people living in its neighbourhood will think about peanut butter, hot peanut sauce, and many more such things for the rest of their lives?

Actually, speaking about Mike Love's solo stuff, I want the intro to this song played at my funeral, and the beginning vocal melody looped for thirty minutes, followed by the rest of the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glnXoBtx75c&feature=related
