I just found out about this section of Google... it makes charts and graphs from the statistics of everyone searching on their website.

"Brian Wilson" - http://www.google.com/trends?q=%22brian+wilson%22&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all&sort=0

That huge jump in 2004 is right around BWPS was released.

"Beach Boys" http://www.google.com/trends?q=%22beach+boys%22&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all&sort=0

The Beach Boys were a lot more popular in 2004, too, but their decline's been much steadier.
