Looks like even Murry can beat Al to releasing a CD these days, and he's been dead for 35 years.

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

I found a German Pressing in a cutout bin in 1970 for $1, maybe I should have kept it to make a lot of money with it today.

That's absurd news. And a digipack as well? Why not a box set while we're at it?

But the most absurd thing is that I'm going to buy it.

For those digitally inclined the album was released in mp3 format back in November -  at least in the UK.

CD is indeed out on 23 March but oddly enough is not mentioned on Cherry Red's web site.

I seem to remember a Japanese reissue a few years back.
