I'm bored, so I thought I'd come up with a fun game... can you combine Beach Boys album titles with other artists' albums (or even other BB-related albums) and come up with something silly?

Some I thought up right off the bat...

THE BEACH BOYS - "Love You"
+ THE BEATLES - "Let It Be...Naked"
= "The Beach Boys Love You... Naked!"  (The album "I'd Love Just Once To See You" was intended for??)

THE BEACH BOYS - "15 Big Ones"
+ BIG BLACK - "Songs About F***ing"
= "Songs About F***ing 15 Big Ones"  (OK, I'd buy that one out of curiosity.)

THE BEACH BOYS - "Smile"
+ PINK FLOYD - Oh come on, you'll figure it out.
= "The Dark Side of the Smile"  (Oooh, deep!)

THE BEACH BOYS - "Holland"
+ ICP - "Tunnel Of Love"
= "The Holland Tunnel Of Love"  (Yes, the Beach Boys' ode to prostitution!)

That's all I can think of, I'm tired...

Shut Down Vol. 61 Revisited made me laugh.

"The Beach Boys Love You" + the Dead Kennedy's "Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables" = "The Beach Boys Love Rotting Vegetables".

Great game idea, TheLazenby! Like it very much. My own suggestions will be:

1. Wandering Spirit Keepin' The Summer Alive (Mick J. solo)
2. Friends Meet The Residents
3. Rickie Lee Jones Reimagines Gershwin
4. Townes Van Zandt Presents Smile
5. The Beach Boys Tattoo You (The RS)
6. Smiley Smile Phases (reference to "Smiling Phases", record by a band called "Traffic")
7. Surfer Girl Works All Summer Long (Pink Floyd's comp)
8. 15 Big Ones Open Up The Door Today! (The Humblebums' LP)
9. Carl & The Passions - The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get (album by Joe Walsh & Co.)
10. Lost & Found In The Right Place (Dr. John)
11. Still Cruisin' Among The Stars (Mike Pinder)
12. That's Why God Made The Gandalf (s/t)
13. Kites Are Fun In Concert ("The Free Design" group debut)

That's all by now. Who's next? I'm sure you, folks, are more creative.

Hey Little Tomboy is creepy. Banging women by the pool is fun and conjures up warm summer thoughts a Beach Boys song should.

See that? I knew that you're all can be more creative! Some of the titles made me smile, thanks for cheering up! I liked the mixture of Al & Ringo - 2 of my favorites musicians. Very clever.

Next collection: The BBs + The Grass Roots="Move Along Holland"

The BBs + Sun Ra="The Heliocentric Worlds of M.I.U."

Mike Love + John Cale="Looking Back with Slow Dazzle"

VDP with Brian Wilson + Velvet Underground="Loaded Orange Crate Art"

The BBs + The Rolling Stones="Surfer Girl Metamorphosis" (rare record but oh so wonderful! My fave songs are "Walkin' Thru the Sleepy City" & "Some Things Just Stick in Your Mind")

Al Jardine + The Clash ="A Postcard From London Calling" (btw, it's a great album! The group is one of my British faves as well!)
