What was #1 on the day you were born
«

Have you ever done this?
Some people believe our lives are profoundly influenced by whatever pop song was #1 on the day we were born.
On the day Heather Mills (the ex Mrs McCartney) was born (12th Jan 1968) it was Hello Goodbye by The Beatles!
My number #1's are:
'You're So Vain' by Carly Simon in the US
'Long Haired Lover From Liverpool' by Little Jimmy Osmond in the UK
'Ben' by Michael Jackson in Australia
See which songs you get

BTW is this some cunning scheme to extract info from gullible people to arrive at their bank account in the end?

I pity you. Has this enormous overdose of sedatives affected your life in any way?

Hehehe! I can well see your point. I had a punk obsession myself for years. It weaned when I got older but some of that simple stuff has stood the test of time surprisingly well.
Tomorrow I'm going to play: 'Wanna Buy A Bridge?', a legendary sampler LP on the Rough Trade label.

Gag.
US: "Alone" - Heart
AU: "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)" - Whitney Houston
Apparently that website has no idea what the number one hit was in the UK, but I'm sure it was equally disgusting.

old

Well, when my wife was born (on Carl Wilson's 25th birthday), "Family Affair" by Sly & The Family Stone was #1.
However, when I was born, "Rock Me Gently" by Andy Kim was the #1 song. My wife loves to remind me that she had a much cooler #1 hit.

On the day Barack Obama (August 4, 1961) was born Bobby Lewis was at #1 with 'Tossin’ And Turnin’
Obama shares his birthday with Louis Armstrong who had the 1968 UK No.1 single 'What A Wonderful World.'
On the day Sarah Palin was born, The Beatles were at #1 with 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'.
And on that day (Feb 11th 1964), The Beatles made their live concert debut in the US at the Washington Coliseum. Over 350 police surrounded the stage to keep the 8,000 plus screaming fans in control. One police officer who found the noise so loud, stuck a bullet in each ear as ear plugs.

I too recall listening to that Edison tune as a child. Actually for me it was that Pattti Page Wedding song.
And I never did find out the price of that doggie in the window. How bout that Johnny Ray?
