Really Really Weird Remix Contest (win a Casio SK-1 sampler)

Since the song and video received such a
favorable response here
, I thought you might like this.
I'd like to announce the
Really Really Weird Remix Contest
.
In the very near future, I will be making the raw tracks for The Simple Carnival's song "Really Really Weird" available for download. If you're a creative remixing kind of person, you can take these original tracks, manipulate them, and turn them into something that sounds nothing like the original song. A panel of judges and I will rank the submissions.
The grand prize is one of the instruments that was used in the song, a circuit-bent Casio SK-1 sampler (considered by many to be the holy grail of weird-sounding circuit-bent instruments), plus a Simple Carnival t-shirt and a copy of the album where the song comes from,
Girls Aliens Food
. There are three runner-up prizes (consisting of the t-shirt and CD) as well.
Even if you don't win, there's a possibility that your remix might end up on a future Simple Carnival release. You can read all the details here:
http://songsandsonics.com/2008/08/05/really-really-weird-remix-contest/
Thanks for reading this far, and hope to hear your remixes soon!

And now the contest remix tracks are officially online (scroll to the bottom to download the tracks):
http://www.simplecarnival.com/contest.php
There's a description of how the tracks are pieced together on Songs and Sonics:

Enjoy!

Three remixes are up:
http://www.myspace.com/reallyreallyweirdremix
Mister Fusty, Heidi Gloom, and Rob Arnold all have remixes you can check out at the above link.
Because Mister Fusty is a judge in the contest, he is not eligible to win anything. He knows this, but he went ahead and did a remix anyway.

Three new Really Really Weird remixes came in this week: Dav, Satan's Little Sister, and EarLabsSolo sent in their submissions. (For some reason, Dav's remix shows up as the last song on the MySpace player. I don't know why.)

Just a reminder -- the cutoff date for contest entries is midnight EST, November 30th, 2008. So if you're a remixing sort of person and you want a chance to win some cool stuff, it'd probably be a good idea to get started on that remix soon!

We're getting near the end of the contest... which means I will soon stop spamming this thread!
Anyway, two new remixes are up: One by Boicey Racer, and one by SensitivBoy:
