Inspiration

I'm sure it's been covered, but is the title Inspiration an actual song or just the church-organ part of good vibes? Somehow in my mind I got the notion of the latter being true. Anyone...?

My understanding is that "Inspiration" was indeed a title given to one of the "Good Vibrations" sessions and not it's own song. I didn't know which part exactly, but the "church organ" section sounds about right.

During the three "Inspiration" sessions - 2 on 6/2/66, one on 6/12/66 - the cello triplets were recorded. I think the 'church' section was cut later. c-man will know.

Yes, the "church" section was recorded 9/1/66. Dennis playing the organ.
