Charles Lloyd (yes, the Charles Lloyd who played on Surf's Up, Holland, 15BO, MIU, etc) is coming to where I live in August, has anyone been to one of his shows? Should I go and see him?  Huh

That's more or less what a reviewer said in a local magazine. Thanks for your advice  Wink

He's awesome live. Still the same kind of meditative jazz that he's been playing since the '70s, and a little bit of funkiness every now and again.

So, I finally saw him on Saturday and had a GREAT time. He was with two other guys (Eric Harland and Zakir Hussain) who are amazing in their own fields too (drums/piano and percussions, respectively). They played a selection of old compositions and more recent ones, and everything was perfect!

Did he do "TM"? If I'm not mistaken, that song features the BBs on it. It dates from the same era as Carl and the Passions: So Tough and Holland.
