Major price difference in Germany for POB

I was about to order the POB set via Amazon.de for €42.22 when I decided to check cdwow.net and discovered they are offering it for €12.88, so I ordered two copies from them with free shipping for nearly 50% less than Amazon. For that saving I can wait a few extra days.

No way that's going to be the first edition "deluxe" version for that price. Just FYI...the first edition is gorgeous and limited... and then it transitions to a standard jewel case version. You should confirm just what it is they are offering for that price.

Jon, what's the difference between the "deluxe" version and the "regular" version?

On Amazon France you can buy POB/Bambu AND the US Singles Box Set for 69€ (106$), shipping included if you live in France. Quite a bargain, considering the fact that the box set alone costs more than that on Amazon USA.

By the way, Amazon France sells the "deluxe" version (no mention of "deluxe", but there is a picture of the "deluxe" set) for 14.95€, so 12.88€ doesn't seem strange to me.

cdwow doesn't mention "delux" but is does list two CDs and a release date of 16. June. I have oredered DVDs from them previously that seriously undercut Amazon, so I'll wait and see.

I am also involved in an unrelated project that requires my funds going in that direction for documentation and the like, so I'm afraid its poor man's delux for me.

I guess it could be the right price considering how weak the dollar is in comparison to the pound. Deluxe means first edition, a cool fold out package with a large booklet. I think the second pressing is scheduled to be standard jewel case with reduced booklet...that's what I've been told.
