Your backing tracks to "...Kissed Her" sound great,
but personally, I'd love to hear your cover of "Ego"...

BTW, all of the rough mixes I've heard so
far for Vol. 2 sound and feel really good...

This CD is gonna be even better than the 1st...

And y'all have inspired me to attempt a doozey
of a cover/remix (more details to follow)...

Thanks for the passion,

Really like your mp3...!

I had flac software loaded for Vol.1 submissions,
but it was only good for 30 days...

Can you just 'yousendit' as a .wav file...?

Yep. Download that. It's very easy to use. Saves on file space and is completely lossless.

It's called 'Dumb Angel' (I know that 's not a very original title)

I have several choices to choose from. I'm thinking about doing an original; I was playing around, trying to cover , "Let Him run Wild"and ended up making a completely new song.  I guess I can't do a straight cover without making a brand new song.
Here's the link for the wav. http://s64.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0RMDB416S31D11MDY0VK5WMXDD

The synth string part in this was actually written by myself for vocals, but as I do not know of any good harmony singers personally, I used synths instead. One day I'd like to re-record it with an actual group.

edit....okay...this is taking FORVER. While I wait for the yousendit to upload, here's the url for the mp3 that you guys can listen to and give feedback.

Anybody here know any of those groovy cats that
submitted on Volume 1, and didn't sign up for Volume 2...?

Give 'em a holler and ask them to consider participating again...

Well, I finished my track tonight...

I hope I don't offend by taking-over one of
BW's (and PMcC's  Grin) most beloved tracks...

My submission is entitled "God's Only Nose"...

It's a distillation/edit of the roughly 20 minutes of all the
"God Only Knows" stuff from the PS Sessions boxset...

There's a few musical puns and other clever
little oddities brought out by the edits...

I'm hoping it'll get a couple of grins from the resident
cognoscenti, surely nobody else would ever 'get it'... Wink

What will the title be for this volume - the same?  Maybe we could vote for a diff. one...?

The first CD's title was inspired by a line from one of the entries...

I was thinking I'd let serendipity name Volume 2 also...

However, if anyone has a suggestion, I'm all for voting on it...

"It" is "us" after all... Wink

Imagine me holding my hands like the proverbial Lady Justice, weighing two different items: "It Is Us", "A Bunch Of Us That Like Brian Wilson Do Our Thing"...

...Mmmm...tough choice.
