Howdy All!
I just purchased tickets to see Al Jardine in Las Vegas on the weekend of April 5, 6th.  I got great seats (front row) in a smallish theatre!  I am very much looking forward to going as I haven't had the pleasure of seeing Al live since 1987.

My concern is that is the show really confirmed and will it happen for sure.  The dates are NOT listed on Al's site.  The last time Al Jardine was supposed to be a guest with another band (Hey Stevie? I think...) in January in California he did NOT make it.  I am just worried that if I cough up cash for flight and hotel now and it gets canceled, moved postponed etc. I may be out over a thousand bucks.  I certainly don't want that.

But I really want to see Al live as his vocals are the best preserved of the surviving BBs.  In the last 7 years I have seen Brian live 10 times and Mike and Bruce 6 times but it is definitely time to see Al.

If anyone has some definitive info I would greatly appreciate hearing it.  If the show is happening, buy your tickets now and let's meet up (BTW - I think I have an extra front row ticket for 2 shows if anyone is interested).  I think Al deserves some good fan support after being hung out in limbo lawsuit land for ten years or so.

Yes the gig is a definite go. The band has all been given the go ahead on the weekend and was told it was a confirmed date.
My friends and I have already booked our tickets for the shows that weekend as well.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the shows!

Thanks again for the reply!

Does Al's band still include Hinsche, Carter, Figueroa, Matt and Adam Jardine?  Is Tom Jacob or Richie Cannata still there?  Anyone in the know?  Should be great!

I know Al mostly tours with the Surf City Allstars which might include David Marks and, or Dean Torrance as well as Matt Jardine.

You might get more details on their website as it is updated more often than Al's.  But nothing there yet.

No this is definitely the Endless Summer Band and not the Surf City All Stars. The band should consist of Ed Carter, Bobby Figueroa, Richie Cannata, Adam Jardine, Matt Jardine, Tom Jacobs, Billy Hinsche, and Matt Jardine.
