i believe this was the first tribute album i purchased and it has a great vibe to it. The only problem i have this is the version of help me rhonda, i hate it! I just found that there's a version that came with a 2nd disc, and it has more smiley & pet sounds tunes....i wish i had it. The track listing is good, it's more of what brian would want to play on a set list. I like the H&V version on here, wish it was more than just an instrumental. Add Some music has that country/folk vibe, i like it. The version of This Whole World is what I believe to be the best cut from the album. The version of Surf's Up is great as well.

I'm not normally a fan of tribute albums, but this one surprised me. A great collection, full of enthusiasm on all hands. 3.

I am a big dc talk fan, but I agree that this version of 'Help Me Rhonda' is not good. In fact I gave the whole album a 2.

The only one I've heard from this is Sixpence None the Richer's I Wasn't Made For These Times, and although I can't stand Sixpence, they do a good job on that song. Can't say anything about the rest of the album, though.
