I really like a lot of the "outros" or fade-outs to Beach Boys / BW music. Like an aftertaste...

Lots out there but those spring to my mind are

surf's up
busy doing nothin'
and a new one... Live Let Live

wonder if anyone has more ideas?

Honestly, I think one of my favorite outros is at the end of "County Fair". I love that girl saying :Sorry muscles I don't need you anymore... LOSER!!!"  LOL LOL LOL

I can't answer that one... There would be too many of them. The Beach Boys (and more particularly Brian) were the masters of the outros!  Smiley

Edit: actually Surf's Up is above all the others.

A couple of other tags I always liked but haven't seen mentioned yet:

At My Window
Love Surrounds Me (with Christine McVie's soaring vocals)
Male Ego ("You look nice - what's your name?")

Marcella
Don't Go Near the Water
Little Bird
California Girls - Fun Fun - Wouldn't It Be Nice - Surfer Girl - Hawaii - Surfers Rule - Our Car Club - Wendy - Girls On The Beach....

This could be a very very long list....

As has been mentioned before there is too many to list but I really dig "Cabinessence" (I also love the instrumental track where the music starts up again after the final chorus that is just magical) but I just love most of their fade outs.

I'll throw out one that I don't think anyone has mentioned yet.

Wind Chimes (Smiley Smile).  One of Brian's most gorgeous vocal sections...and yeah, I know that's saying a lot!

Funky Pretty hands down is the best thing ever.

God Only Knows is tied with it in first place, followed by Marcella.

All I Want to Do  Grin

 LOL

Songs not listed:

SIP (UK version)
Make It Big
Kona Coast (the "Hawaii" section)
Goin' On
Spirit Of Rock And Roll (a capella tag, beautiful!)
Getcha Back
Lady Lynda (awesome!! I know it's not exactly from the Beach Boys)
Hushabye
Brian's Back (aka You Still Believe In Me  Grin  )

Does "Endless Harmony" count? Cause the line which I mean is 1 minute long.

Surf's Up (1971) is the best outro/fade of all time, by any act ever.
ADITLOAT is close behind.
God Only Knows is also incredible.
The California Girls fade gives me chills -- the group never sounded better and I love "girls, girls, girls, yeah, I dig the girls"
Let's Go Away for a While
Brian's vocal on Getcha Back fade gives me goose bumps, not because of the greatness of the song, but because it's Brian
It's OK (Denny's "find a ride")
Santa Ana Winds with Brian wailing on the harmonica
She's Got Rhythm ("never will forget her")
Hey Little Tomboy (the little solo at the fade)
My Diane
Matchpoint of Our Love
Love Surrounds Me
Baby Blue
This Whole World
All I Wanna Do
Lookin' At Tomorrow

I am very surprised "Don't Go Near the Water" hasn't been mentioned more.  Those 35 seconds are possibly the pinnacle of Carl Wilson's career as producer, which is really saying something.

The last minute of Long Promised Road never fails to give chills, even after 1000s of listens.

From POB, I have to mention:

Moonshine
Thoughts of You
Time
Rainbows
End of the Show

Also, Sweet Mountain, Surfin' Down the Swanee River, Guess I'm Dumb, and a bunch of songs from the Flame album:

Make It Easy
Lady
Don't Worry Bill
Get Your Mind Made Up
Another Day Like Heaven

Obviously I could go on and on . . .

Anybody want to work on getting them to release the studio sessions for that? Smiley
