The liner notes to "Smiley Smile/Wild Honey" mention that Brian was going to record an album about physical fitness but never did...

Anyone else ever hear about this??

Just one of his fly by night ideas. Mike said it would include tips on getting dressed properly, be a "Helpful Hints" LP. I don't know if it was recorded but Brian sat and planned it out.

I wonder if he was recording Vegetables when he had that idea. I know that it was for Smile, but it could've been during that 'fitness' faze.

You could take songs from various albums and arrange a "Brian's physical fitness" album:

It's Trying To Say ("Baseballs On")
Vegetables
Cool Cool Water
H.E.L.P
Life Is For The Living
Games Two Can Play
Take A Load Off Your Feet
and Shortenin' Bread for kicks

And add to that:

- I'm In Great Shape
- Mama Says
- Too Much Sugar
- He Couldn't Get His Poor Old Body To Move

Well he was planning a health food album, a comedy album and a sound effects album at the same time.  Too much speed?

I think that is the most overlooked contributor to his scattered thoughts, his inability to finish SMiLE!.

Also on the Smile album there were moments humor and sound effects. Vegetables had all 3 with humorous lyrics about health and sound effects of chomping carrots.

You can't talk about a humor album without including Johnny Carson!
