Apart from currently unreleased material, there are no good ideas. Either rehashing the same old stuff or any attempts at new (i.e., almost certainly cheesy retro garbage) would be a terrible idea in my book.

There are still plenty of good ideas:
- Smile box set
- Dennis Wilson solo box set and/or POB re-issue
- Carl Wilson solo CD re-issues
- compilations with unreleased songs
- live albums with material from the 60s and/or 70s
- indeed a Still Cruisin'/Summer In Paradise 2fer (yes, I'm serious)
- 'Sessions' box sets of Friends, Sunflower, Today!...

Mike and Bruce present: A Reggaeton tribute to Pet Sounds.

Any updates about the new Beach Boys website?  Hopefully that'll take care of a thing or two on Shelter's "good ideas" list.

slightly OT, what are the #1's? in US: I get around, Help Me Rhonda, GV, and Kokomo?

I think in UK: Do it Again? Cotton Fields? not totally sure on that

GV was  no.1 in the UK, as was Do It Again. Cottonfields reached no.5, Kokomo, no.25 but Wipeout (with the Fatboys) reached no.2! (ref: AGD).

Following his resurrection of SMiLE, Brian Wilson returns with a new incomplete album in:
"Brian Wilson Presents Lifehouse" (BWPL), with bonus track *"Disney Girls (2007)"!!

Stars & Stripes Vol. 2

that was part of the original plan, which is why some of the best cuts were left off vol. 1...
like Tammy Wynette's "In My Room" and " Sail on Sailor" by Rodney Crowell.

I'd like to hear Merle Haggard or George Jones do a Beach Boys tune.

Yeah, I'd totally get a KTSA, LA, and MIU box set if they existed.

Though, I bet they could do a Love You boxset and throw in the piano demos and Adult Child songs...
