I don't know if anyone else ever gets this feeling, but If Im listening to Fun Fun Fun or Little saint nick etc.
on the hi fi really loud, I sometimes get the compulsion to dance like mike love. Ya know, Ill do the pretend steering wheel, and the whip. Anybody?....As lame as his moves were, In the privacy of my home , In my deep dark private moments I emulate them.. I guess I'm a lame-o. but thats no news. Oh and sometimes I like to put on my turban and gold lame jacket and prance around to california girls. Maybe not that last one....

No dancing here but sometimes I feel the urge to sue some old friend or workmate.

I felt like shaving my head to look like him, but nature's taking care of that right now.    Cool

I didn't dance around but I did make Mike Love-style lyric-related gestures onstage at a gig once because one of the chicks in my band liked it when I did that.  I may do it again sometime. Brian's Trip

I've been forced at gunpoint several times to do just that, but I usually wake up from the nightmare before the part where I'm also forced to chant "don't F with the formula" while levitating at a TM retreat.

I don't--but I do occasionally poke fun at him, awaiting the inevitable backlash of "Mike Love is just as great / talented / etc. as any other Beach Boys." And really, I don't care much either way. It's just fun to watch the fireworks.

I have to say that I do.  And why not?  It has character.  Dancing to stuff like, say, LDC, Little St. Nick, Santa's Beard etc, requires a little goofiness.

jack Rieley told this hilarious story about Mike listening to the mix of Marcella and "practicing" the hand gestures and dance moves that he would add to his part at the end.  Cheesy

We baldies must unite!

Nah, I'm not balding, though I'd have every family reason to be.  Cheesy  I apreciate a good laugh about Brian, Mike & Co when it's not in the "he's an asshole, hope he rots in hell" area.

I do -- but not when I'm alone -- I only dance like Mike when I'm in a very crowded place with a ton of strangers...  like a shopping mall or airport.  Does that count?

Hmm...  I guess Brian has recently started to do a "seated on a stool" version of Mike in a sense, yeah...

Maybe Mikes dancing career is based on the banana man?
And Brians is based on this -  Smokin

Uh, no. But I have adopted "That's a bummer when Ms. Ross can't make it" as a catch phrase. Nobody gets it.
