Fascinating stuff, of course…but here’s something interesting. Around the 3:30 mark Brian is singing “How Can We Still Be Dancin” which supposedly (per Joe Thomas) was written after the Imagination sessions, and the similarities with Dancing The Night Away were supposed to be minimal …except after hearing this, I’m really questioning exactly what Thomas actually wrote on it

What Brian's singing there isn't lyrically complete, so I don't think it's a reason to question Joe's credit. This is December 1996 and the original version of How Could We Still Be Dancin' was recorded in about June 1997.

Ahh I was thinking earlier in 1995 so yeah that makes sense . Also  some reason I thought it was written in 1998-1999!
