Her version beat the version of the Beatles' "Love of the loved". There's a vid where they both appeared. She sings & Paul with John watch. I rmbr it from the Beatles fan days when I would spend summer watching the band's clips on Youtube.
She has great voice but more than for any other singer, I can say it's the type of voice that doesn't suit for everything. Take "Red Rubber Ball" - it's not her thing. Idea with orchestra didn't work but she totes didn't grasp it.
