edit: Most likely just a slightly different master. I can't find any obvious differences in the mix, but it just
feels
a bit different.

Same mix to my ears. Very little digital processing on the vocals, so an excellent mix it is.

The movie clips and the end with the real Brian and Melinda work really well but the rest is pretty dull. That clip of Brian in the studio has been shown a few times already and having Brian peeking out from behind a huge piano has gotten really stale. My guess is Brian does not like being filmed or acting so it's near impossible to get a music video with him in it. They should have shot some candid video of him in an environment where he feels relaxed. At home maybe or some such thing and spliced that in.
The On The Island video was great and they are really missing the mark by not getting Guess You Had To Be there with Kacey into a music video.
