Are there any photos floating around from Dennis' final show with the group in Pomona?  I believe the date was September 26, 1983.  I remember reading something stating that Dennis showed up at the show the following night and was asked to leave.

There's somebody on ebay offering photos they say are from that concert
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dennis-Wilson-LAST-CONCERT-1983-Pomona-30-PHOTOS-Set-RARE-Brian-Beach-Boys-50th-/252021014209

Example photos are poor quality but you can see Dennis behind the kit & walking on stage.

Thanks for the heads-up!

For some reason your second link won't work for me. Hope this works (open it in a new window to get a larger version):

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

I wonder if these are the same pictures that were auctioned off a few years ago?

I'm the lucky winner of that auction. As part of the sale terms, I cannot reproduce them, online or otherwise. But I can describe them: pretty sad, to say the least. Dennis is obviously on his last legs. In some photos, he's drumming, in others he's trying to line dance with the other guys on "Barbara Ann", and it just looks pathetic. As a historian, I'm glad I have them, but as a fan - well, I put them away and haven't looked at them since.

How does he look in comparison to the Seattle video from earlier in the year?

How about getting a cartoonist to 'depict' them for us, a la Foo Fighters......  http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/jul/14/newspaper-challenges-foo-fighters-photo-policy-sending-cartoonist-cover-gig
