Seeing as these fetching items are modeled by none other than Michael, Bruce and David I have been highly surprised to find that there are no Beach Boys baseball caps in the official store.

I want one, I need one, where the hell do I get one?

I'm not too bothered about the colour scheme or anything like that I just want that gosh darned hat.

I'll sell ya mine. I gave away SIP, but for the black hat with golden scrambled eggs, I'm talkin' hard cash.  Cool

How many BB caps does Mike have? Is it an entire closet full? Does he retire them when the sweat stains grow to a perceptible level? Could Mike sell stage-worn hats with sweatstains for a premium? Untapped revenue stream, cough cough.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Seriously? Are the manufacture runs of these caps kept to a limit on purpose?

seems they are out there periodically and I try to grab the best looking ones with the Coca Cola script.   I have one with embroideried BB logo on a patch sewn to a cap, tan and white.   a few years  ago I found one with an earth tone green bill and tan hat with Beachboys embroideried directly on the hat.   My favorite.    Please excuse my misspelling of embroidered If indeed it is misspelled.   the keyboard has been drinking.   Not me.  also, I saw a nice white one with black embroideried somewhere on line.   I got mine at shows.    Try BB merch. Search online.    Merch.     Yeah.   ML always had the best BB caps.    and back in the day, DW wore the coolest BB merch shirts.  anyway, when u see a cool one u like, grab it.

Yar, Don I getcha. It's just that whenever I search "beach boys baseball cap" I get beach themed children's sun hats.

I am in a serious malaise.

Woah, just found a lime green 1992 Summer in Paradise cap for £25, it's cheaper than the CD, but I think I'll pass...

The Online shop was selling various colours during C50.  I also picked up a white one with blue logo writing in 1991 at a show (it's now signed by Mike and Bruce, story posted elsewhere).  But yeah, I love those hats and the Dennis t-shirts.  I wonder if he just grabbed them from the merch stand before a show as he may have turned up topless!

I'm always on the lookout for this stuff.  The black with gold writing and scrambled eggs is one i nearly had years ago and didn't buy.  At the C50 Wembley show a young guy was wearing one next to me in the toilets.  Maybe it's someone from this board? I was tempted to offer them money for it.

Mike Love has a rare and acquired sartorial taste.

Maybe the official Beach Boys store will be replenished as we get closer to summer.

Are these caps still hard to find? Are they being sold at shows even?

I have seen Beach Boys hats sold at every M&B show I have attended. It seems the styles are constantly changing. I attended a show in May and didn't see this one available, but appears to be new:

This also recently appeared on mikelove.com , but doesn't appear to be available for purchase, yet:

It still amazes me the total lack of merch available online. It doesn't appear the online store has been updated in several years.

The stuff on that Mike Love merch cover page appears to be old stuff and stock photos (e.g. no apparent plan to reissue "Looking Back With Love" on vinyl).

The Mike Love logo shirt is something I have never seen before.

Yeah, seems like a weird idea to mock up a T-shirt with his new logo but never plan to sell it. I think this merch has a chance to materialize… that said, not sure about a reissue of LBWL. If any of Mike’s people are reading this right now, us fans would love anything we can get our hands on! Shirts or archival releases!

Maybe a two-fer reissue of LBWL/SIP (with Kokomo as a bonus track) timed with the autobio - proof that ML was as much the genius of the BB's as BW.

I actually did order one of those Chinese ones from Amazon. Let's just say they're not the real deal.

I can't believe these are so hard to get. Whatever, I guess it's not something I really need...
