I'm gonna guess 50/50 chances. I'll just bet Mike is gonna call up Stamos and put in a pretty please.

I just have to laugh about it at this point. Full House does suck, though I still like it a little bit (knowing it sucks) because I grew up watching it. It's a strange world indeed that Brian is getting very good reviews for new material, while the best Mike could do to keep himself in the news will be to hit up Stamos for a cameo. LOL I for one would be *shocked* if Mike didn't at least try to make it happen - seriously. Hope Bruce still has the same embarrassing early '90s Big Dog t-shirt in storage, which he can wear again on the show this time around.

Reading the story, it sounds like a re-boot concentrating on the kids with Stamos and the others possibly getting guest spots. Having their 'olds' musical oldies would be a ratings turn-off for the target audience. Highly unlikely to happen I think.

Odds  of anyone wanting to watch this pathetic  excuse for entertainment??? Could be very close to zero. This is the kinda cheeze that stunk up the group in the first place thanks to myKe , br00th, and Stahmos.   Shrug Shrug Shrug Shrug Shrug Shrug Shrug Shrug

Truth be told I don't think M&B are relevant enough to appear on the new Full House.  Remember back when the made their original appearance on the series, they were riding high with "Kokomo" and being a favorite of John Stamos, he brought them in and kept bringing them back time and time again.  From what that article states, Stamos is going to be in the category of a "guest performer" himself on the new series so I can't imagine him having as much creative pull with the new show as he did with it's predecessor.

My favorite Beach Boys appearance on Full House was when they were playing "Kokomo" and Brian is very loud in the mix, singing falsetto, going, "Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya!" and then just kinda trails off, lyrically.

They've actually had several cast reunions but no full fledged reunion show to my knowledge.  Basically aside from Tim Allen and Pat Richardson most of the actors on "Home Improvement" are no longer in the entertainment industry.  I guess the same could be argued for "Full House" but as far as "Home Improvement" goes the actor who played Wilson passed on several years ago and Richard Karn who portrayed Al Borland did host "Family Feud" for awhile.  As for the younger actors, all three of them never made the transition from child actors to having careers in the industry as adults.  One of the boys, Taran Smith made headlines around a decade ago when he revealed that his parents had over the years apparently taken and spent all the money he had earned on the show.

Maybe Brian and Al will come back for an appearance with an NPP song or two.

I figure New Girl is the likeliest sitcom for a Brian appearance, whether or not he's doing "On The Island."

Brian's sitcom appearances haven't exactly been the most logical... take your pick of whether "The New Leave it to Beaver" or "Duck Dodgers" was the stranger choice.

On our way through this "backstage" maze, Bruce joined up with the group and said hello, singing "It Never Rains in Southern California" and joking with some of the older ladies. I'm not sure if they knew he was a Beach Boy or simply an enthusiastic elderly gay gentleman.

I kinda think the days of the BBs making sitcom appearances are in the past. Unless Brian gets on Big Bang Theory or something. But M&B might seize this opportunity. Or at least there's gonna be a behind-the-scenes opportunity-seizing attempt.

Brian will be on some sitcoms this year  because NPP is going to be a monster hit, and everyone will want him. He was on "New Leave it to Beaver", so why not "New Full House"? He'll do it just to anger Mike and Bruce. If Dennis were still around, he'd be dating the Olsen twins - both of them!

Maybe they will do a crossover and the Beav's grandkids come to visit the new Tanners through a shared love of Duck Dodgers and Brian and Al show up and sing a couple of songs.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

This show getting picked up is just another instance of the weird “ironically funny” retro 80s/90s thing that has been going on for awhile. It’s not quite a heart-on-its-sleeve continuation sort of thing, but not a full on parody either, and it’s predicated (like several other recent “re-boots” on Netflix and elsewhere) on the nostalgia of the original show rather than anyone wanting such a show. But even the “nostalgia” isn’t pure; it’s rooted in satire, in the “so bad it’s good.” That can be fun for little sketches (that seems to be one of Jimmy Fallon’s schticks these days; basically indulging his own 80s/90s fetishes), but I don’t know how much it will hold up for a full season. They could try to go for the now uber-trendy “Arrested Development/Community/Parenthood” style of no laughtrack, documentary-style cinematography, surreal non-sequiter humor, but I don’t know if DJ and Kimmy from “Full House” could pull that off, and I’m not sure some of those with a slightly more “pure” nostalgic view of the show would want to watch it.
