I don't have any idea about this Twitter thing. Could somebody post this question (only if it's ok for you):
I don't think you ever used a slapping stand-up bass on any of your recordings (solo or Beach Boys). I'm thinking about something like many of the 50s Rock'n'Roll recordings used. In case you even think about that kind of stuff before you record, would you consider ever writing a song with a slap-bass in mind?
On another note, as a great admirer of Blondie Chaplin, I'm so happy to see him with you and Al. Ricky Fataar and him were absolute heroes for contributing in making the Beach Boys one of the hottest live acts of the 70s. Will you continue to work with Blondie?

It would be just the thing for this rock'n'roll album he keeps talking about. :=)

Yeah, maybe... if that ever happens. But I really would love to hear what kind of song Brian would come up with when he thinks about a slap-bass sound.

This is perfect. I wish Brian used Twitter. I know his people run an account, but I wish he sometimes just sat there and mused on things and answered questions like David Crosby does.
