So, over the weekend, Steve Perry came out of hibernation and appeared on stage for the first time since 1996.  He came onstage during an Eels concert... and... well...  you be the judge.

Perfect examnple of someone who apparently is absolutely not motivated by the 100's of millions of dollars a reunion would generate....

Saw it when E posted it on his Facebook page. Couldn't believe it. So awesome. A friend of mine is perhaps the biggest Journey fan in the whole wide world - and he flipped. Cheesy


By the way - Perry had already sung with the Eels on May 25th (not just last weekend).

The dude's 65!  Craziness.  He sounds like that... No recordings... no live shows... I guess he's been singing in the shower but hell the guy comes out of nowhere and still 'has it' to a large degree.  I guess when you got it, you got it.
