Going through some of my old files and found this...i shot it on my iPhone at the BB's Grammy Museum performance in Sept 2012. What an honor to stand 10 feet away from this happening...apologies for the shaky camera, i was into the song not the cinematography. A great night. A great year.

Nice to see in a stripped down and basic style. They seem to be right into it. I was reminded by I think Dennis saying many years ago how much they still loved to gather around a mic.

"We're just singing fools!" or words to that effect.

that's a cool video;    coupla questions:

Couldn't tell who that was playing the beat box in the back row, but it resembled Marla a lot. ( a league of their own)  right player?
Was Lee Dempsey in attendance? That sure looks like his chrome dome in the first row....

That is John Cowsill beating the box. Scott T, Jeff F, and Darian on the back line.

I don't recall seeing Lee there that night.

Thank you Jon! I would love if a DVD of this performance and/or the one they did for Rolling Stone was released.

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Why don't you just copy this one and press up some DVD's?

I love Brian's little shouty bit on the fade!

Amazing.

This far along and they can break our hearts one day and then bring us back again watching something like this.

I love the sung guitar solo and Brian's enthusiastic singing at the end (which amused Al).
