Casual look. Mike sounds... mentally handicapped in his backing vox. "comic sounding" bass vocals gone wrong.

Blueberry hill
It just drags on and on and on, and those background vocals are so grating

TM Song has really shitty lyrics, but holy sweet goddamn, what I wouldn't give the hear the instrumental backing track... Really playful and inventive, classic Brian Wilson. Everyone's in Love with You is sickening schmaltz and it gets my vote for this round.

"A/S/L"? "Age:24. That's when Brian Wilson made Pet Sounds. Sex: Brian Wilson was having loads of sex with Marilyn when he made Pet Sounds. Location: Gold Star Studios, where Brian Wilson assembled with the Wrecking Crew to make Pet Sounds. Hbu?"

EVERYONE'S IN LOVE WITH YOU
Rarely for a pre-1980 Beach Boys song, there's literally nothing at all about this song that I like.

Guess you all are ready to Get Tough on this one! Not too popular with the modern crowd. Not me. I love this long-player. More than Holland. I think they improved.. At first I hated the idea of losing Blondie and Ricky, and it did lessen the power they had built up with the live band. But getting Brian back proved, on record, they could improve. This was a much bigger deal, in it's time, than is remembered or respected today. But Hey, I'm Game. Not many weak tracks... . My Maxwell's Out for: )"Everyone's In Love With You" I liked all the TM songs until this one came along.

I don't agree. I think it is remembered as being a much hyped, much anticipated album, the first highly anticipated Beach Boys album since Smiley Smile, really, and as such its failure to be anything resembling good is what put the last nail in the coffin of commercial viability of the Beach Boys. As such, 15 BO is a pretty generally disliked album in these parts, and I think rightfully so.

This is an interesting exercise...I have to decide between cloying and boring for least favorite. I guess I'll go with boring, and there are several that qualify for me. This round: In the Still of the Night

I imagine TM Song's backing track might prove as much of a surprise as that of Had To Phone Ya. Hope we get to hear it some day...

Welcome back to a new round of BEACH BOYS SURVIVOR. Remember to be respectful of others opinions. Please don't spam the thread with too much opinionating (a little is ok ).... and without further ado... 15 Big Ones is the twentieth studio album by American rock group The Beach Boys, released in July 1976. It was their first studio album in three years and the first Brian Wilson-produced album released by the band since Pet Sounds, ten years earlier. This is also the first album to feature the classic lineup of the Beach Boys (Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson and Al Jardine) since the mid-1960s with Bruce Johnston's temporary departure from the group. Although Dennis Wilson suggested calling the album Group Therapy,[citation needed] and rejecting Pick Ya Up at 8[citation needed](after the outtake "I Wanna Pick You Up"), 15 Big Ones was named for their fifteen years in the business and for the fact that it had the same number of tracks. Rhymes hard? No time? You must have voted out TM Song. As usual vote for your least favorite track. The track with the most votes gets voted off. Tally on March 9th Rock and Roll Music It's O.K. Had to Phone Ya Chapel of Love Everyone's in Love with You Talk to Me That Same Song Palisades Park Susie Cincinnati A Casual Look Blueberry Hill Back Home In the Still of the Night Just Once in My Life Round#1 - T M Song March 7 My least favorite has got to be A Casual Look.
