The March 1967 issue is, of course, known for having the SMiLE ad on the back cover, but no other BBs involvement.

Thank you! Now it can be seen as it appeared originally, remember in LLVS the cover page wasn't the original page from the magazine but from another piece that led to confusion over the "Smile Brian..." title.

This puts it in the right perspective. Fantastic.

And remember issue 1, number 1 of Teen Set was dedicated *entirely* to the Beach Boys, and stands as a terrific document of mid-60's BB's history as well as showing just how much popularity and clout the band had in the mid 60's.

Great stuff, thanks again for all of it.

Is there any writer credit for the article to be found in Teen Set?

Just Great.  Thanks bgas.  Easy to read too.  Does anyone have the issue 1, number 1 gf2002 is referring to?  Or is it already posted somewhere?  Haven't looked through Steve Mayo's Print Collection Thread in a while.  I remember you were posting some stuff there...

Just scroll down the list of threads a bit and you'll see it ( Teen Set Magazine article,  OP Warnakey) or go here:  http://smileysmile.net/board/index.php/topic,3945.0.html

bgas,  Thank You Again.  I can't believe that I have been reading this site so long and still find things not seen before.  When I first found Smiley Smile.net, it was the Media Section I focused on the most.  That's where the history is fever pitch.  love this place.
