Just wanted to share my excitement with you. Tonight I am going to see this show at a small art space in Baltimore, where members of Beach House (local favorites, and one of my favorite bands period), Grizzy Bear (another favorite of mine), Robin Peckinold of Fleet Foxes, and a bunch of others (plus some bartenders at my local watering hole) are getting together to cover Gene Clark's No Other note-for-note. I am more excited for this show than any show in my concert-going history sicne the 2/24/2004 BWPS debut. If I'm not too hungover maybe I'll post a quick follow-up here. Wish all of you who are interested could join me.

so how was it?


the documentary is very well done by the way. every Gene fan should own a copy.
