'Punchline'
What about 'Land Ahoy?'
OMG you're right...
*added to first post*
Songs I'm still missing:
Their Hearts Were Full Of Spring (GV box set)
Karen (Television's Greatest Hits Vol. 4 sampler)
Guess I'm Dumb (MiC box set)
I restricted myself to only include one version of each song, therefore Hearts (1967) is included in the next poll only and Back Home is there for 15 Big Ones. Land Ahoy was excluded since it to me is a inferior early version of Cherry Cherry Coupe, but I have no problem with it being added. I also excluded songs originally released under non-BB names, hence no Barbie, Guess I'm Dumb or Lady for example. Didn't know that Karen was commercially available, thanks! I'll let pixletwin decide which suggestions should be added; nothing wrong or right in these matters.
And yes, before anyone mentions it, both Cottonfields (45) and Sail Plane Song/Loop de Loop are included. Why? Because I made the lists and I felt like it.

You're right of course, but since Barbie & What Is A Young Girl Made Of (and Lady & Sound Of Free) have been released on Beach Boys albums, it could be argued that these songs have been more or less adopted by the band.

The latter two songs - especially "Lady" - have a much better claim for being on a BB comp than the Kenny sides, which have never been released on an
officially sanctioned
BB compilation: even on the outstanding DCC
Lost & Found 1961-62
, those tracks are listed as by Kenny & The Cadets.

Big thanks to Fall Breaks for putting together a viable list of songs to vote from. I will quote his disclaimer text:
Quote
All songs legally released. Rounds not strictly defined by eras, since I wanted about an album’s length of songs in every round. May or may not work. No guarantee that I haven’t forgot to include some obscure track. You could argue that especially the 1969-1971 “suffers” from having too many strong tracks where only one can win, but then again, only one Pet Sounds track made it to the finals as well. Version specifications have to be made for some tracks, e.g. Can’t Wait Too Long and It’s A Beautiful Day).
Punchline has fallen on deaf ears (laughs maniacally)
So... without further ado....
As usual, VOTE FOR YOUR
