I think this track has been mentioned a few times on here by my group The Roomates,as im new to this group thought I would post up here
When we started our group over 25 years ago not as a beach boys styled vocal group but as a doowop group and was looking at slightly different songs to record we looked at the early Beach Boys albums and were ultimately drawn to this track which now has become one of the mainstays of our shows,we always ask the audience if they can tell us who did the original and correct answer will win a free cd,needless to say most nights we go home with the same amount of cds as we came with.

I really liked your original, You're Some Kinda Fool.  Is it available via amazon or itunes?

It's on their fantastic Lost On Belmont Ave. album. Well worth picking up!

Thank you egohanger...I'd like to get just the one track, or maybe a few (I'll listen to some of the others when I have a chance).  In case you are wondering, I am at work and certain sites are blocked...I suppose I can just check when I get home.  Smiley

Nice to see you post here, Steve. The Roomates are way cool! I love your 'The Classic Sound of' album from a few years back.

G'day, Steve! Let me state here that The Roomates are evidence British doo-wop exists, you all do great harmonies together, Miss America is no exception. However, my favorite was, is & will be In This Song Again. Very beautiful tune, love those "(Twinkle twinkle little star) How I wonder where you are..." call & responses near the end.

Lime is food? Yep.

Mandarin and Clementine went to meet the entire citrus gang, nobody ate people.
