Yeah, I know it won't happen and the guys wouldn't care if he did, but I would so love for Miami Steve to do for the Beach Boys what he's apparently done for the Rascals. Steve got the Rascals to reunite and do a Broadway and touring show together, called "Once Upon A Dream." I didn't get a chance to see it, but from what I've read, the show has the guys doing their classic hits, between clips of interviews and   dramatized clips of their backstage lives. I think it would be great if the Beach Boys would do something like that. It would give them prestige to be on Broadway,  even for a limited run. It would be touching to hear their story presented with a live concert, even if it would be watered down to please all sides.

From interviews I've read, the Rascals apparently had a problem trusting each other, and the show helped them heal that problem. They're discussing coming back to Broadway to do the show there again, extending their tour, and even recording new material together.  That would be so good if the Beach Boys could solve their trust problem and get back in the public eye as a unit again. Yes, I'm being unrealistic, but it's a thought.

The Rascals weren't from a dysfunctional family.

They're also all alive, so the show is an actual reunion.

Those outits they wore in the early days made the stripe shirts of the beachboys actually look appealing.

any fans of The little Steven'garage show here?  I listen every week.  a real treat of a radio show.

Paul Revere once said that if the Raiders had been in the kind of outfits the Young Rascals wore, they would've gotten out of them too! Poor guys with their knees sticking out. Fortunately, the tight pants the Raiders wore covered their whole legs.

Not to be a stickler but he hasn't been Miami Steve in many years.  At least since the 1980s, he's been known as Little Steven.

There was one lp where they looked ridiculous.     they looked like the three stooges episode where they were dressed like little boys.  Fortunately their music  was strong enough to outlive those stupid costumes.
