This apparently is really happening.

How long before Mike is on the phone to Stamos, dropping hints about a M&B cameo?

And yes, I'm totally serious - I bet the phone call may have already taken place!

What are the odds that Bruce still has that Big Dog sweater? I say 50/50.

It's been in the works for a long time now from what I understand.  The hurdle was that they somehow always wanted to involve The Olsen Twins and they didn't want any part of it.  So they finally have given up the ghost on that aspect of the project and can now move forward with the rest of the cast who obviously has wanted to do this for awhile now.  As far as it pertains to The Beach Boys though, it's just more ammunition for those who think that John Stamos and for that matter the rest of the cast is nothing other than a nostalgia trip.  They have been living off past glories for over two decades now with not one actor ever featured on that show ever breaking out to mainstream success on their own.  Now they are all getting back together to reprise the roles that made them famous.  It will get green lit for sure but in my opinion just gives more ammo to the anti Stamos contingent around here.

Its going to be fitting if M&B are on the show since this revival is going to be missing key members of the cast.

Not that I give a rat's about the cast of Full House, but didn't Stamos achieve "mainstream success" on his own on E.R.?  Or does that not count 'cause it was an already-established ensemble hit that he slid into?  Similarly, he was on the hit Necessary Roughness for the whole past season.  And wasn't the other guy from FH a hit with his home video reality show (I'm such a non-fan that I don't know the guy's name or the show's name off the top of my head, and I can't be bothered to Wiki it, even though it would probably take less time than it's taking to type this sentence).  Smiley  Not that I disklike FH per say, it was what it was, and I can't knock Stamos for his taste in music or for jumping at the chance to play with his favorite band whenever he can...I'd certainly do the same if I was him!

The other guy? You mean Bob Saget? He does stand-up, his act consists of random f-bombs and generic observational jokes.

BTW, it seems that this is not really happening.  Apparently it was an April Fools' from some site that then a bunch of blogs & news took and presented as real.
Too lazy to find the reference links now.

Well, isn't this serial old news by now? It'd be colossal stupidity if the sequel got released. Just thinking over it is absurd. I mean, who wants to watch the 50-year olds on screen, let alone the Olsen twins - queens of corny B-movies? The ratings would be lower than the underground. For sure.

Old reruns on TV are hot right now. I get a few retro TV networks in my neck of the woods, including Antenna TV, Me-TV, RTV, and Cozi-TV. I don't think any are showing "Full House," however. So, yeah, maybe there isn't a big demand for it.

I can't imagine that group of people getting together at this stage - foulmouthed Bob Saget with fundamentalist (and sister of Kirk) Candace Cameron; recovering meth addict Jodi Sweetin. But you know ML would love to see the show return so he and Bruce can sing "Kokomo" with the kids again...and so ML has another chance to hit on Becky, aka Lori Loughlin.

Lori is gorgeous. I'd hit on her too. At least Mike has good taste.

I love Full House because of the Beach Boys because they were in the show in 1988 doing Kokomo and one in 1990 when Mike came and did Be True To your School and the episode was a Telethon.  Another one was Jesse doing Forever and Mike and Bruce and Carl came by and let Jesse to do the Song Forever.  Just do a Sequel and put in the Beach Boys with Original Cast

Let Mike and Bruce appear on the new Full House; Brian, Al and David will be busy with the revival of Boy Meets World (which, btw, once featured a reunited Monkees playing a high school dance).

You are very strange, Surfer. I don't see how you would like such a phony show, where one of the series features terrible cover of Forever. Are you really Dennis's fan? A little bit suspicious.

I can't speak for Surfer (who I agree is very strange), but I grew up watching Full House and still love it.  Phony?  Oh yeah.  And the Forever cover was horrible.  The BB appearances are campy, and frankly disturbing.  I also love reading the Full House Reviewed blog, which tears the show to shreds.  That said, I love me some Full House.  I'd love a reunion!
