They may be better but with A sides it's about 'hit' potential.  Besides, it's difficult to say 'better'.  They may mean more to a listener as they are more introspective and reflective but in terms of production and innovation it would be hard to argue that anything is 'better' than say an "I Get Around".

As for the 'best' on the album I go for "California Girls".  Most of the album is top notch production wise and vocally.

Yes, you're quite correct - it is all personal preference, and of course in terms of hit potential I Get Around or Dance Dance Dance trump Don't Worry Baby or She Knows Me Too Well every time...
