I forgot about this song!  Chug-A-Lug that song is about a Bio on each member of the Beach Boys. Take a Look

Gary likes a girl's tight black pants
Larry knows he doesn't stand a chance
Carl says hurry up and order it quick
Dave gets out to chase that chick
Dennis wonders what's under the hood
Brian's still glued to the radio
Louie's lookin' out the rear window
Guy's got around to orderin' fries

Gary, Larry, Louie, and Guy aren't Beach Boys.  Do your homework, Surfer - Boner points if you know who those guys are/were.

P.S. Mike wasn't included in the lyics. His name coulda replaced 'Guy's'. Mike and Guy kinda sound the same.....

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Mikie, can I borrow your "troll-be-gone" spray?

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Sure, man.  Just acknowledge that I have patents pending on it so don't bother doing a chemical analysis on it, K?

Actually, I'm just trying to salvage the thread and helping to make it a learning experience for the young man.

I'm thinking that the reason that the OP is coming off rather strangely is that English is clearly not his or her first language.

3. "Ten Little Indians" Song about Indians

Genius.

That's where "Bridge To Indians" would have led to on the 12 minute H&V. Cheesy

That's exactly what I thought. If so, it makes all these 'troll' accusations kinda distasteful... Personally I love Surfer's threads and his obvious enthusiasm. Can't wait for his next thread!

Gary, Larry, Louie, and Guy aren't Beach Boys.

Gary=Gary Usher
Larry=Larry Ferrari
Louie=Louie Marotta

If you're interested in seeing the original thread discussing this, Surfer, it's here: http://smileysmile.net/board/index.php/topic,13564.0.html

Did we ever figure out who Guy is though?

Nah, Louie was Louie Marotta, who was a neighbor of the Wilson's and Mark's. Lived in the same neighborhood all those years and passed away a couple of years before the Beach Boys Hawthorne Monument Dedication Ceremony. David recounted stories about sitting on the curb and lighting farts with Louie and I think didn't Dennis, after fighting with Murry, sleep in the back of Louie's Dad's car and take it for a spin one night? I forget that story.

"Guy" had might as well have been Mike. Guess it was just made up.

Aquaintance of the Wilson's: "DENNIS WILSON TRADED HIS 63 STINGRAY FOR A 64 JAG COSTING $7400. HE GOT $1600 TRADE-IN FOR HIS 63 STINGRAY. DAVID MARKS HAD A MGC, I THINK IT WAS A 6 BANGER. HE BLEW THE ENGINE ON EL SEGUNDO BLVD. LOUIE MAROTTA AND I TOWED IT TO LOUIE'S HOUSE. LOUIE BOUGHT IT FOR $105 AND RESTORED IT".

From an ex Hawthorne cop: I stopped a vehicle one night for making an unsafe lane change just north of 136th St. on the Blvd. The driver got out of the vehicle, came back & was very nice, I had his license & was about ready to advise him & kick him loose. About this time an older male got out of the passenger side & started to chew me out, saying "Don't you know who we are!!" ETC, ETC. The driver kept trying to get him to shut up, anyway, the driver got a ticket. Afterwards, I found out it was one of the Wilson boys (Beach Boys) & the Running of the Lips was his dad!"

Doesn't make sense that "Mike" would be in the song, 'cause Mike was singin'! That, I think is the explanation as to why Mike isn't included in the name checks. He's the narrator, talking about everyone else. The song was written for Mike to sing.

I always interpreted the "Guy's" in "Chug-a-Lug" as "Guys," as in collective bunch of guys - not a single person named "Guy."

BTW I own Louie Marotta's 1959 Hawthorne High "El Molino" yearbook with Brian and Al's senior pics.  And it's signed by Dennis...

Yeah, I've thought of it that way too.  Still not 100 per cent though.

So not to beat a dead horse here, but did Larry Ferrari (I mean the world renowned one) really play organ or piano on Chug-A Lug?  Is this crap or is it documented in session sheets or elsewhere?  Grayham Doe, you out there?

Man, that name is a real blast from the past. That guy was on Philly TV every Sunday morning. So, Larry was a rock and roller? Who'da thunk.

It’s funny but to me the album Surfin’ Safari is very, very slight, and contains little of the genius-level type music that the Boys would later produce.

It's not that funny you think that - lots of fans and the vast amount of reviewers feel likewise. Personally, I love it's innocence and rawness. And Chug-a-luggy organ solos.
