I just heard this LA band called the Allah-Las on WXPN last Sunday, and really dug their sound and vibe. They're from LA, and I think it captures a lot of the sounds and vibes that I like from the 60's LA-Sunset Strip garage sound. Plenty of tunes on Youtube to check out.

It's such a blessing to have that station, isn't it??? When they're on, they really deliver interesting music that you might not have heard anywhere else, and an eclectic mix of stuff, too. Nice tunes!
