Funniest song(s) you've ever heard.

Doesn't need to be a blatant comedy song, although it can be. Otherwise it can just be something you find funny for whatever reason.
I'd have to say:
Cheepnis, Frank Zappa, off of Live at the Roxy
John Birch Society, written by Michael Brown, as performed by Chad Mitchell Trio on Live at the Bitter End (BRILLIANT album)
Jennifer Louise, Of Montreal, off of Adhils Arboretum

Jonny Cash - "A Boy Named Sue" ("my name is Sue! How do you do!?!"
)
Brian Wilson - "On A Holiday" (Brianīs "child!" cracks me up every single time)
Brian Wilson - "The Waltz" (especially the way Brian sings it)
R.E.M. - "Itīs The End Of The World As We Know It" (itīs very hard work and incredible fun to sing along)

Ah, the omnipresent video. Even NPR was talking about it yesterday. Talk about saturation.

The years 1980-present for the Beach Boys...and no, I'm not laughing with them.

Do Daniel Johnston tunes count as being "funny"?

I just got the link in an e-mail today. Didn't realize it was omnipresent. I did think it was funny as hell.

Probably about as much as making fun of Brian does.

Daniel Johnston's stuff is funnier in more of a "look at me, I'm such a dork" sense. We all laugh at Brian for various reasons, Gettin' In Over My Head notwithstanding.

Um, I don't think Johnston is asking to be looked at or considered a dork.

I've played some of his ballads to several girls I know and asked them for their objective opinions. They all thought he sounded like a dork. Maybe the joke is on us, maybe we underestimate Johnston's brains. Mental illness aside I think he's more together than most people would like to believe.

Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo did a really funny song as The Honeymooners (Ed and Ralph) years ago that I used to love. Think it's on a Piscopo album.

I'm not saying he isn't a dork. Or that he isn't strong. But I severely doubt he's making an attempt to be seen as a dork and thus get our laughter.
