How much of this show still exists in the BBs tape library?

Could they release the whole show like 1964 live album or just put highlights on the boxset?

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

The limited amount of audio from this concert is just awesome.  I too wish there was more available.

LOVE the sound of Carl's 12 string guitar!!

It's like a "what if" for the group had Brian stayed on the road. It's the live maturity they never got with Bruce.

The forum member here that got to hang with Alan Boyd and hear some potential stuff for the box set, said that "Please Let Me Wonder" from this show was in the running for the box.

Wow, this is the first time I hear this version. Blows away the Sacramento one. Thanks!

Brian really was a fine live performer in the sixties and I suspect the early seventies. I love the Beach Boys shows I have heard through mid 1975 but when Brian was there the harmonies sounded so much better.

Is this the Chicago 65 overdub stuff that featured on the SOT Live box?

I LOVE hearing Brian's transforming voice here. Starting to sound a little like his 70's self.

As mentioned a few posts ago, I had heard the only stuff that was on SOT was the tape of the songs they had overdubbed in the studio.  Strange though, these songs don't sound overdubbed to my ears.

I'm assuming the reason why Brian made this appearance was the intention to turn this performance into a 2nd live LP, which never materialized.

I do have this show (incomplete), which I found out yesterday, and he talks about I Get Around.

I don't know how certain people can hear this recording and NOT admit that Brian's vocal technique for a song like this includes using falsetto and full voice on different occasions.
