There are a ton of Grammy's given out each year for all kinds of categories. They only show the major ones on TV. Sometimes they will give a partial list or special note here and there on some of the other ones. I do remember they say to go to the Grammy website to see a full list of all winners. I'm not sure best historical set or whichever they are up for is one that has ever been shown. I've never watched thoroughly enough to really notice.

No one has mentioned this tidbit...CBS showed footage of The Beach Boys performing and a little interview with Brian & Mike tonight (Saturday) on "The Grammys Will Go On: A Death In The Family", a new one-hour special on CBS about the 2012 ceremony and how it all quickly came together in the aftermath of Whitney Houston's death. It aired at 9:00 PM East Coast time.

Or was that for the Sessions Box? "Best Historical Album"? Can't remember.. |

I watched the award online and screamed for joy when The Smile Sessions won.
Brian was so visibly moved by the accolade, he could barely finish his speech. Alan Boyd gave an especially gracious speech. Congrats to all involved in the TSS project!
