Thanks for mentioning this.
It was funny, and the show is often hysterical. Carrie's current real life band is called Wild Flag and if you like the sound of an all girl band that rocks you will love it. My wife got me watching Portlandia last year and I was VERY skeptical as I never watch Saturday Night Live or anything like that. Needless to say we are both hooked, and as a bonus I found a great new CD last year. I'm not a music lover per say..... I just love certain bands and I must admit Wild Flag is a blast to listen to. Guitars that REALLY rock in a good way.
