I just saw this, and the price isn't bad so far! Have a few extra bucks to spend, need a good gift for that special someone...check these out. Danelectro guitars autographed by Brian Wilson, and the other by Roger Waters:

No takers?  Grin  No bids for Brian's guitar so far while Waters' has 2 bids, still 7 days to go.

Charity is charity, so of course it's worth bidding. But since we've pretty much only seen Brian behind a piano for 30 years, it's a little bizarre to have his autograph on an instrument he's never been known for playing. Even a bass would make more sense. True for Roger as well. I can't think of a time I've ever seen him play an electric guitar. Acoustic, maybe.

That's true, these are just vanity pieces but they are pretty solid guitars (I own a Hodad baritone and love it) and for just a bit more than the current value of those guitars, you get the autograph too, which if you're a fan of either guy seems like a good bonus. It depends on how much the bidding goes up, though, because it is true that having them sign a bass instead would have perhaps increased the value a bit. And if you support the charity, it's not a bad conversation piece to hang on your wall for the cost of a donation.

I know I sound like I'm shilling for these, as I said before I'm not and they just caught my eye yesterday!  Smiley
